Scott Wehage, M.S., CCRP
Scott Wehage is a seasoned clinical research professional with over 22 years of experience in both academia and industry. As Co-Founder of CollabTrials, LLC, Scott is dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence in clinical research. Scott’s career began at Johns Hopkins University, where he spent over 12 years leading investigator-initiated trials. During this time, he was instrumental in the submission of three INDs and the successful execution of over 20 clinical trials, contributing to more than a dozen published peer-reviewed articles. Transitioning to the medical device industry, Scott played a pivotal role in a successful PMA trial with the FDA and a 510k submission for a groundbreaking medical device. An active member of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) since 2010, Scott has held his Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) credential since 2011. He also serves as the Co-Chair of the SOCRA Baltimore Chapter, where he shares his expertise to support the professional growth of others in the field. At CollabTrials, Scott leverages his wealth of experience to optimize clinical trial operations, guide research sites in navigating regulatory complexities, and deliver transformative results. His work underscores the importance of teamwork and innovation in advancing clinical research.

Dave M. Vach
David Vach brings decades of leadership and management expertise across a variety of industries, including aerospace, mortgage banking, and financial services. With a degree in Economics, David began his career in the Aerospace Industry, managing and supervising the planning and execution of government and commercial contracts over a 12-year period.Transitioning to Mortgage Banking, David led sales and processing teams, overseeing origination, processing, and closing for diverse financing programs. In 2001, he founded USA Home Loans Inc., where he served as Owner and President, managing a team of approximately 130 employees, including loan officers, processors, and support staff. Continuing his career in financial services, David joined a management team focused on reducing unfair debt practices and advocating for individuals treated unjustly by collection agencies. David’s extensive experience across industries equips him with a unique perspective and a proven ability to lead diverse teams and drive results. At CollabTrials, David brings strong strategic management and operational expertise, contributing to the success of the organization and its mission to elevate clinical research operations.

MaryAnn Bowman
MaryAnn Bowman is the visionary Founder and CEO of ClinGRO Solutions and a key partner and Co-Founder at CollabTrials. With over a decade of clinical trial financial management leadership, MaryAnn has dedicated her career to empowering clinical research sites to thrive independently. At CollabTrials, she collaborates with other partners to foster a cooperative environment where innovation and diversity lead the way. Her extensive experience in budget negotiations, financial site audits, and CTMS optimization contributes significantly to CollabTrials' mission. A staunch advocate for accessibility and inclusion, MaryAnn is also spearheading the launch of a volunteer program aimed at nurturing talent and promoting volunteerism within the industry. This initiative underscores her commitment to community and growth in clinical research, ensuring that sites of all sizes can succeed in an increasingly complex industry.

Ronald T. Ackerman, MD, FACOG
Ronald T. Ackerman, MD, FACOG is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with over 25 years of experience as a leader in clinical research. He has dedicated his career to advancing patient care through the development of groundbreaking treatments, vaccines, and medical devices. As a founding partner of CollabTrials, Dr. Ackerman plays a key role in driving innovation and fostering collaboration within the clinical research community. Drawing on his extensive expertise as a Clinical Researcher and Principal Investigator, he is committed to building connections that ensure clinical trial excellence. Dr. Ackerman is also the founder of Advanced Women’s Healthcare and Comprehensive Clinical Trials, with a career marked by initiatives to improve women’s health and advance clinical research. His leadership at CollabTrials reflects his belief in the power of teamwork to create opportunities and improve patient outcomes.

Moses Ukazu, PharmD.
Moses Ukazu is a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse background in finance, biology, and pharmacy, bringing a multifaceted approach to clinical research. With his early career rooted in financial strategy in Nigeria, Moses transitioned to the United States to pursue his passion for healthcare and earned his B.Sc. in Biology from Bloomfield College in 2016, followed by a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy in 2020. As a co-founder and partner of CollabTrials, Moses is instrumental in streamlining operations, enhancing collaboration, and advancing clinical trials to deliver transformative outcomes. His leadership focuses on creating efficient, patient-centered research processes that drive innovation and impact. Moses’s career is guided by a strong commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and fostering education and innovation in clinical trials. Outside of his professional pursuits, Moses is an active philanthropist, supporting initiatives in healthcare and education. He is married to Dr. Adanna Ukazu, an OBGYN and Addiction Medicine Specialist, and together they raise their four daughters with a shared vision of compassion and service.
